DGE GATHERS EMPLOYERS TO DIVULGE THE LEGAL REGIME THAT REGULATES THE PROFESSIONAL CARD

The General Directorate of Employment (DGE), in partnership with the Coordination Unit of the National System of Qualifications (UC-NQS) met on Tuesday morning, February 8, hotel managers and managers of bars, pastry shops and restaurants in the city of Praia, to socialize and disseminate the legal framework that regulates the professional card.

The objective of the meeting, according to the General Director of Employment, Danilson Borges, is to share with the employer’s information about the legal requirements to have access to the professional card, as well as to socialize the process of implementation of the professional card.

The professional card was established by Decree-Law No. 107/IX/2020 of December 14, as an indispensable condition for the access and exercise of professions related to the areas of Hospitality, Catering and Tourism, namely Waiter and Bar, Tour Guide, Baker, Hotel Receptionist and Cook.
